State of the University Address
President Smith's State of the University address brings the campus up to date on several topics of interest to the campus community, including CSUMB's accomplishments to date:
- More than 2,000 graduates
- Nearly 3,500 students enrolled
- Faculty that is rewriting the script for what an engaged, 21st-century university should look like and achieve
- Recognition as a leader in diversity, engaged learning, institutional effectiveness, technological infusion, and outcomes-based education (among other areas)
- With great support from the surrounding communities, Board of Trustees, and Chancellor's Office, the university has been established and has thrived in the face of tremendous odds.
