Noted projects & programs on campus include:

  • University Advancement and IT are working collaboratively to determine where content management and electronic publishing can replace traditional paper publishing. They seek to eliminate press and paper costs while also improving communication. One part of this effort is the creation of an online annual report and magazine.
  • The Student Affairs division redesigns the orientation program for all entering students, making it more comprehensive and covering a wide array of campus services and programs. They also continue to streamline the transfer process from CSUMB's five partner community colleges in the HELP consortium, reducing bureaucracy, time, and frustration for transferring students.
  • In the College of Professional Studies, Dean Dorothy Lloyd and her faculty create the Master of Science in Management and Information Technology degree. Offered through collaboration between our business and technology programs, this master's allows graduate students to combine business and technology to prepare them for today's technology-driven business environment.
