New Major Gifts Manager
Dr. Stephen Schmeiser is CSUMB's new Manager of Major Gifts in the Office of University Development. He will manage CSUMB's major gift fundraising, with an emphasis on the College of Professional Studies and the new library project.
Schmeiser comes to CSUMB from CSU Fresno, where he served for four years as Director of Development in both the College of Social Sciences and the College of Science & Mathematics. He has served on the faculty at several colleges and universities-including CSUMB, where he taught economics. Schmeiser has a Ph.D. and an M.A. from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. He has also served as CSUMB's Interim Major Gifts Officer since January 2001.
