CSUMB Presidential Transition

On opening day in the fall of 2002, the California State University (CSU) system, the largest university system in the U.S., reaches a student enrollment of 406,896 for its 23 campuses. CSUMB sets its own record with an enrollment increase of almost 15 percent, the largest percentage increase of any CSU. In 1995, CSUMB opened with 654 students; the enrollment is now 3,551 students.
