Over the winter break, Information Technology (IT) updates the design of its website to better serve the campus community beginning in January. It marks the first revamp of the site since 1999. The site now offers major improvements in technology help and after-hours tech support.

Some of the changes include "How To" guides on technology specific to the campus, such as changing passwords and using the Home Server. There are frequently asked questions and summaries of technology-related services. There are also simple software downloads, new facts on hardware, and extended telephone support hours. Users can submit, modify, or cancel IT service requests any time by using IT's new Web Help Desk™ system.

To help speed up the process, IT has added a feature to allow users quickly to select specific needs: workstation, computer lab, account, telephone, network, or software.
