1999-2000
CSUMB celebrates the new millennium with three times the number of students as in its inaugural year. The 1999-2000 academic year sees faculty members being summoned to the White House; the university's Service Learning program being praised by high-ranking government officials as a "model" for the rest of the country; and one student-centered building closing as others open.
